LP record. McKuen reads beat poetry with titles such as "Co Existence Bagel Shop Blues," "Haiku Poems," "What is a Fabian," and "Like," to jazz accompaniment. Terrific cover photograph of McKuen sitting pensively at a table in a Beat coffee house with a wine bottle and candle on the table, a large abstract painting on the wall behind him, ignoring the beautiful Beat woman sitting across from him. Amusing liner notes describe a typical night on the Beat scene "whether in the North Beach section of San Francisco the beach town of Venice or the far away hangouts in New York's Village." Scarce silver "Stereo" sticker to corner of front cover---stereo was in its infancy during this period and fewer stereo copies were produced than mono. Cover very good plus, record near mint. The classic cover photo makes this a zeitgeist highspot.
