LP record, mono. McKuen reads beat poetry with titles such as "Co Existence Bagel Shop Blues," "Haiku Poems," "What is a Fabian," and "Like," to jazz accompaniment. Terrific cover photograph of McKuen sitting pensively at a table in a Beat coffee house with a wine bottle and candle on the table, a large abstract painting on the wall behind him, ignoring the beautiful Beat woman sitting across from him. Amusing liner notes describe a typical night on the Beat scene "whether in the North Beach section of San Francisco the beach town of Venice or the far away hangouts in New York's Village." Record near mint, cover bright very good plus with trivial wear to spine (the original innersleeve is included). The classic cover photo alone makes this a zeitgeist highspot.
