A satirical cartoon mag styled after Mad magazine. The Beatnik issue, with a cover illustration spoofing beatniks and an "8 page special BEATNIK pull-out-section." The beatnik section is a newspaper titled "Daily Beatnik" in which all the ads for popular products of the day are rewritten to appeal to beatniks. Also, "Beat Artists of the Year announcing the winners of the Beatnik awards given annually to creative artists for the most avant-garde contributions of the year," and an illustrated article "Beatnik Television" that adapts then current television shows to fit beatnik sensibilities. Thin line of toning to edges of cover, else near fine. The most desirable issue.
