[Ann Arbor: Artists' Workshop Press, 1968].
Legal-size mimeographed sheets, stapled at the edge. First edition. Limited to 250 copies. Distributed for free to garner support for John Sinclair who was on the verge of receiving a 10 year sentence for two joints of marijuana. This prints the legal briefs prepared by his lawyers for his defense, testimony on Sinclair's behalf by Joel Fort and others, and Sinclair's The Poem for Warner Stringfellow. Sinclair is an important counterculture figure having been a marijuana activist, manager of the MC5, founder of the Artists' Workshop Press, and leader of the White Panther Party. Varying amounts of occasional sepia staining to some pages including the top of the back cover, very good. Scarce.
