Paperbag, Vol. 1, No. 1, February 1968.

LA: MPS Corp., 1968.

Item #SKB-317

The premier issue of this short-lived counterculture magazine (only two issues) that collects the best articles that appeared in the underground press. Features a photo-illustrated article on the Death of Hippie celebration in the Haight-Ashbury. Also, an interview with George Harrison and another with Bill Graham, a tribute to Hell's Angel "Chocolate George," articles on hippies, marijuana, LSD, and more. Lavishly illustrated with photographs and psychedelic art---including four full-page psychedelic "posters" and one centerfold poster. Great hippie content and a nicely designed magazine. Top of one page printing the headline for a story cut off but affecting nothing else, centerfold poster with a small tape-repaired tear has pulled loose from the staples, else very good. Priced to way over compensate for the flaws.

Price: $35.00
