Untitled lithograph utilizing Berman's signature motif of hands holding transistor radios with images inside.
LA: Gemini G.E.L., 1974.
Item #SKB-16798
An offset lithograph photographed from Berman's original Verifax collage. Limited to 50 copies. Originally issued as part of a set of lithos titled Radio/Aether Series 1966/1974, but here offered separately. On this print the images within the four hand-held radios are: a naked female torso, an indian statue with a woman's hands above the statue, an ear, and a woman screaming as her hair is blown straight upward. The lithograph measures 12.25" x 13.25" and is done on starwhite cover mounted on Gemini ragboard. It bears Gemini G.E.L.'s small blindstamp in the corner and their name is printed on back. A lovely example of Berman's art, with a small limitation, from the only set of lithographs that were ever done of his work. Fine.
