Item #SKB-16797

4to. The front is illustrated with a collage utilizing photos of Andy Warhol, Nico, Elizabeth Taylor, a Warhol movie poster, and various newspaper clippings. The back prints another newspaper clipping "A Far-Out Night With Andy Warhol," along with the blurb: "Andy Warhol's smash scene from N.Y. THE EXPLODING PLASTIC INEVITABLE with The Velvet Underground & Nico!---it's total---it's inevitable." Microscopic nick to top edge, some toning to the back, but very nice overall. An extremely rare handbill, this copy from the personal archive of Sterling Morrison of The Velvet Underground. Included is a letter of provenance from Jeff Gold of Recordmecca who handled Morrison's archive. A terrific association copy of a seldom-seen handbill.

Price: $3,000.00
