NY: Dial Records, ca. 1948.
8vo. Single sheet folded to make four pages. Second edition. The front cover features the Wallace Berman illustration used on the cover of "Be-Bop Jazz," a set of 78 rpm records issued by Dial in 1948. A terrific illustration by Berman and his first published work, published contemporaneously with its appearance on the cover of the records (Support the Revolution p. 175). Berman did this drawing when he was a teenager, but selected it for use on the "Be-Bop Jazz" cover when he was 20. A couple of barely perceptible, faint patches of dampmarking, else a nice, fresh copy. Rare and very early Berman ephemera---the first copy we've encountered---we were previously unaware of the existence of this item.
