SF: Gray Line, 1967.
16mo. Large sheet folded to make a small, 4-page unbound pamphlet. First edition. "Designed for the enjoyment and information of travelers on The Gray Line, Inc. San Francisco Haight-Ashbury District 'Hippie Hop' Tour." The back cover boasts: "The only Foreign Tour within the continental limits of the United States" and "A Visit to the World's Largest Hippie Colony." During the "Summer of Love" Gray Line offered visitors to San Francisco a "Hippie Hop" bus tour through the Haight-Ashbury during it's short-lived apex. Although hippie glossaries appeared in various books and magazines of the period, this is the only separately published hippie glossary of which we are aware. One of the rarest pieces of Haight-Ashbury hippie ephemera---the only copy weve seen in 30 years of specializing in this material. Fine.
