Softbound. First edition of the author's second book. One of 950 copies. Presentation copy nicely inscribed by Lamantia to fellow poet Stephen Ronan in remembrance of a day spent together: "Stephen & Philip / in / serenity of / the flame, cool / Passion Sunday, 2001 / Mystery Miracle Magic / Amor! Pax Bona! / and warm regards / Philip." Lamantia has added a couple of small drawings to the inscription. Some toning and soiling to white covers (as usual), else near fine. Presentation copies of this title, especially with warm inscriptions, are scarce.
