Handbill printed on both sides announcing ''Zuccini [sic] Feast Eat Free.''

[SF: Communication Company, 1967].

Item #SKB-16464

4to. Broadside. First edition. One side announces the free zucchini feast, the other prints a recipe for zucchini. One of the Digger's most important contributions to the Haight-Ashbury community was offering free meals for the throngs of hippies who descended on the Haight during the "Summer of Love." Two-hole-punch to top edge, else very fine. (The Diggers "liberated" whatever paper they could and in several instances, as can be seen in Notes from a Revolution: Com/Co, the Diggers & the Haight, they used paper with holes punched to the top or sides to produce their handbills.).

Price: $200.00
