A group of 8 postcards sent by Piero Heliczer over a nine-year period from, variously, Amsterdam, Preaux-du-Perche, and New York, to writer Bill Levy in Amsterdam and Paris. The content has mostly to do with Christmas, New Year and birthday greetings, with some mention of readings, parties, and current activities. Approx. 290 words in holograph and 39 typed. Autograph material from Heliczer is scarce and this group of cards is particularly nice since Heliczer and Levy were both closely aligned with the '60s avant-garde. Levy, a writer, was also founder and/or editor of some of the leading counterculture publications of the period such as Suck, International Times, The Insect Trust Gazette, et al.
