16mo. Printed folder with wonderful front and back cover designs by Dana Young with three folded, unbound sheets of rice paper laid in. Two sheets feature colorful rubber-stamped illustrations, the other prints a poem by Cohen. First edition. One of 500 numbered copies, this being copy No. 1, Dana Young's personal copy. One of the most charming Bardo publications featuring one of Young's nicest graphic designs. The front cover features a suit-wearing, gun-wielding skeleton being rained upon by psychedelic mushrooms, the back cover features a shadow figure with furtive eyes, a psychedelic mushroom, and a buxom woman. "Bureau of Surrealist Research" stamped at the top. Scarce, only three copies on OCLC. Occasional specks of scattered foxing, else fine. Provenance: the archive of Dana Young.
