London: Privately published, 1983.
Gold-edged, stiff white card printed in black. In addition to celebrating Mick's birthday, guests were also invited to participate in the launch of "Jagger" by Carey Schofield. This is Steve Abrams' personal invitation with his name handwritten in the corner. A superb association since Abrams was the person who sponsored the full-page legalize marijuana advertisement in The Times, and also organized the 1967 "Legalize Pot Rally" in Hyde Park, both of which were inspired by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards getting arrested for drugs. The outcry resulting from Abrams' efforts had an immediate and positive effect on the disposition of their cases. Chris Jagger's pencil name and phone number to verso in an unknown hand. Fine (ca. 4.5" x 6"). Unusual ephemera with a nice association showing that Jagger hadn't forgotten his friends from the sixties.
