Berman, broke, writes Glicksman hoping that he can help sell some work, in full: "Hal---Am tapped here I have many works for sale---all framed---all sizes---anybody you know who might be interested? I dropped Walter a note---thought that maybe somebody wants a work but as I am not with a gallery---don't know about how to get work?? Friend W." The recipient, Hal Glicksman, curated the famous "Assemblage in California" exhibition that brought Berman to a wider audience. Creased for mailing.
