Item #SKB-14085

An early version of this poster announcing a screening at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. This copy is signed by Bruce Brown, surfboard designer Dale Velzy who produced the film and bought Brown the equipment that allowed him to make surf films, and Hap Jacobs, an award-winning surfboard shaper. This is the copy shown in Mark Blackburn's book Surf's Up: Collecting the Longboard Era (p. 155). A very scarce poster from the glory days of the surf scene, even more desirable signed by these three surfing legends, and a true highspot from the nascent days of Brown's career 8 years before he made The Endless Summer, the most famous surfing film of all time. About fine (11" x 8.5").

Price: $650.00
