Pamphlets. First editions. Limited to 500 copies. Each book is inscribed to noted actor and film director, Paul Bartel ("For Paul"), and each is signed by Gorey using the appropriate pseudonym for that book. Bartel was the writer/director of "Scenes from the Class Struggle in Beverly Hills," "Lust in the Dust," and "Eating Raoul," among other films. Books inscribed by Gorey are scarce and these are a nice association linking two artists who, in their respective domains, were expert purveyors of black humor. A letter of provenance from the Bartel family is included. All fine in near fine publisher's envelope (Eleventh Episode has a couple of pin-head-size specks to back cover).
