Larkspur, CA: Hand-printed and assembled by Wallace Berman, 1959.

Item #SKB-6082

Limited to 350 copies. Printed folder featuring a cover photo of a phallic rock by Charles Brittin. Laid into a pocket inside the folder are 17 (of 18) inserts printing poems, photographs, and drawings, with contributions by Philip Lamantia, Bob Kaufman, Ruth Weiss, Wallace Berman (photo of Lamantia injecting himself with a syringe), Antonin Artaud, David Meltzer, Michael McClure, Kirby Doyle, John Wieners (Peyote Poem), and others. Tiny corner crease to folder, usual slight toning to some inserts, else near fine---a nice bright copy. Lacking the insert that prints "Sister Juana Ines of the Cross" translated by Lamantia. Priced to overcompensate for the absence of the least consequential piece in the issue.

Price: $4,000.00
