NY: Love, ca. 1969.
4to. Handbill, printed on both sides, announcing a counterculture dating service while also serving as an application. The back features instructions for how applicants should mail in the form so that a "loving match-making freak" can look for potential matches in the area, and includes a questionnaire asking: "Do You Get High? How? On What?" and "Show us how REAL you are, baby." The submission has to include an original love poem or "a flower petal, a lock of hair or a joint." The handbill closes with the statement: "We Love You---ALL OF YOU---even if you don't apply. After all, WE ARE ALL ONE anyway." This item is not listed in Don Fiene's "R. Crumb Checklist." A scarce Crumb piece. Very fine (11" x 8.5").
